Sounds like you have a nickle allergy. Titanium is 100% bio compatible and does not contain nickle. Try using a curved barbell as opposed to a captive bead ring.

How long have you had your eyebrow pierced? And when you say infected does that mean it "oozes" a creamy almost yellow substance? Or is it green and has a bad smell?

naaa it just gets red and sore!!!!! ive had it for over 10 years.. took it out for a while it never closed up but im on remicade every 7 weeks and i hear that can mess with pircing sites cause it lowers yer immune system and ability to heal faster.

Try finding an internally threaded curved barbell in Titanium. Internally threaded jewelry means the threading is on the ball and not the post. Its less traumatic to the tissue. Since it is already healed it deff sounds like an allergy to nickle. Do you get a rash if you wear a necklace that isnt gold? The jewelry that most crap ass piercers use is surgical stainless steel which is 15% nickle. They are also poorly polished and covered in the polishing compounds. A poorly polished piece of jewelry will have minute nicks and sharp spots which tear up the inside of a healthy healed piercing causing discomfort. Hope this helps!
